Ok, I’ve been busy

Ok, so it has been a while since I’ve done any updates

Ok, so it has been a long while, but I’ve been busy, so busy you may not even recognise me

Chinese New Year

After all the recent parties, Christmas, New Year, my birthday 🙂 I didn’t think there was anything left to celebrate, because I’m in Australia I almost forgot about Chinese New Year, this isn’t like the Australian New Year, this is a two week party, I knew I had to get some of this action

What, a two week party, lets go!

Time to have a serious talk to Dad, come on Dad, we can’t sit here watching TV, we need to get out and party

But we couldn’t go straight away, I had to have dinner first, maybe I could finish quickly somehow

I knew I was going to be partying hard and it has been really hot lately, I think I better keep my fluids up so I don’t overheat

Let me just knock this one back and then we can go

I couldn’t wait to party but there was still work to be done, I had to help Mum make dumplings so everyone could enjoy the party

Yeah Mum will roll them, you fill them please

Finally though we did get to enjoy the party, so did lots of other people

I sure get to party a lot, there can’t possibly anything more to do for a while now, although you just never know what I might get up to next 😉

lots of firsts

Ok, so I haven’t been around that long but even so I’m still finding there are lots of firsts, I’ve already had my first Christmas so I know what that’s all about now but this past month has been busy with even more firsts.

I had my first New Years Eve, they tell me it’s a great big party, what they didn’t tell me though was it happens at midnight so I slept straight through it, I need some daytime firsts!

Before long there was something else to celebrate, that’s right, my first birthday 🙂

I was still in the party mood and before you know it another first, my first Australia day, it turns out everyone has a party on Australia day and I love to party 😉

I was thinking there couldn’t possibly be any more firsts but before you know it Mum took me by surprise, I got my first haircut, what do you think, does it make me look older?

Christmas cheer

December is a busy time, it’s Christmas time and Christmas cheer is just the beginning, there’s also lots to do when it’s Christmas time

Christmas, call my agent and arrange everything

Turns out I had to help get things arranged or there wasn’t going to be much of a Christmas at all

Time to get things in order, Mum was making a crazy mess, I don’t know what she was up to

Mum! What are you doing, we need to clean up!

I don’t know what was going on with Mum, I had to get Dad in on the action to help me clean up

You missed a bit over here Dad!

I got the house cleaned up ok but I needed to get clean too

I need to get out now, hurry up!

I got myself cleaned up all right, now I just needed to choose something to wear

I got the place looking good, I got myself tidied up but I realised that I hadn’t let Christmas man know what gifts I wanted, I mean how would he know what to bring if I didn’t tell him, but how was I going to let him know, maybe I can tell Dad and he can let him know

Yeah, and I want a bike, and a ball and a ...

I was getting worried though, Dad’s always busy, how would I know if he would pass on my wish list, I guess I needed a backup plan 😉

I think I had that pretty well covered and I was really getting into the Christmas spirit

I thought I had things all sorted but still no sign of Christmas man or any gifts, I mean they tell me that’s what it’s all about, what to do, maybe I just couldn’t see far enough and needed to get up higher, I know…….

Turns out it was a plane that I had seen, didn’t matter as it all worked out in the end anyway

For me, wohoo!

Christmas was fine but boy was it tiring, lucky we only do it once each year or I think I’d be too worn out to enjoy all my gifts 🙂

Where did all the cake go?

Hey, it’s my birthday soon, maybe I can get enough energy to play with some more gifts by then 😉

Frequent flyer points

I think it’s about time I enrolled for frequent flyer points, no sooner had I arrived back in Australia from China and I was getting the itch to travel again, I think it’s all the leg room in those seats that make it so comfortable to travel, whatever it is I just had to do it, time to get on the phone and make a reservation I think

Yeah, first class thanks!

Tickets out of the way it was time to pack my bag, I was just taking Mum and Dad down to Melbourne for a few days so I knew I could travel light 🙂

Ok, I'm packed and ready to go

I had a bit of a look around Melbourne, not sure I like it though, I think it was summer, winter, autumn and spring, all on the same day, what a crazy place, even the animals didn’t know what to make of it

Maybe we should come back at feeding time

At first I thought the weather was so crazy that all the animals had frozen, it turns out we were at the museum instead of the zoo, no wonder they weren’t moving 🙂

Melbourne was good but I think we need to fly somewhere else again real soon, maybe somewhere where they only have one season each day then hey Dad!

What a month

What a month I’ve had, we all got on the plane and headed back to China for a bit of a working holiday, well work for Mum and Dad and a holiday for me anyway 🙂

I had a chance to catch up with some of my friends and go drinking

I got to see the sights like never before

I drove up to the mountains

I'll steer Mum, you do the brakes

Once we got up to the mountain it was just a leisurely stroll up to the top

We don't seem to be going that fast Dad!

But I also took some time out to relax and unwind after working so hard

Think I'll just relax here a while longer

I also took some time out to visit Hong Kong, I’ve been before but there’s always something new to see, I got to check out the amenities and have a bit of fun 😉

Hong Kong is great, but there’s too many stairs, where’s the elevator when you need one

Even though there’s lot’s of stairs it was still worth it, I ate out in some nice restaurants

Ok, I think I'll have the duck, followed by the.....

I was so busy all the time it seemed like I hardly had a moment to myself

Everything was going great, I was having a wonderful time, until they told me it was time to pack our bags and go back home that is

What do you mean it's time to go?

I could hardly believe a month had gone already, I still had lots to see and do, I was real upset, until I found out Mum said we could come back again real soon, I can’t wait 🙂

Back to where it all began

Some people think I’ve been in hiding, I mean just because I haven’t updated my website in a while doesn’t mean I’m not around you know, I still add new photos regularly so make sure you check those out too 🙂

I’m not in hiding, don’t let the crazy hat fool you 😉 I’ve just been busy, that’s all, I’m learning to walk so that keeps me busy, but where have I been, well have I got a story for you 🙂

I was asking Dad one of those difficult questions, you know the one, “where did I come from?” I’ve been so busy I actually forgot, I came from China, time for a refresher course I think, how about it Mum, what do you say?

Wow that was quick!

No sooner had I asked the question than Mum had plane tickets and we were ready to go, wow Mum, you sure got that sorted out quick smart 🙂

I have no idea why people complain about the leg room

So off we go, back to where it all began, China, my home town, it’s a big place, I think I might need some wheels so I can get around and see some things, what do you say Dad?

I think it’s going to take me a while to see my way around this big place, I’m ready for it though, don’t forget to check my photo pages so you can see how I’m doing, if I get time I might even add some updates here for you too 🙂

Got anything quicker?

I’m getting bigger and stronger everyday, I can stand up now and I’ve been thinking I might walk soon but it still seems like a slow way to get around, maybe I might skip the whole walking part and just learn to ride a bike instead, how about it Dad, what do you think?

I'm not sure about this Dad

I’m not so sure now, I’ve seen other kids around my house riding bikes and it looks pretty easy but I think maybe their legs are longer or something, how am I going to do this Dad?

Ok, so it’s not as easy as I thought but I still want to feel the wind in my hair as I go racing about, how am I going to do that, how about it Dad, what can we do?

I needed to get a piece of the action

Dad has been away for work all last week in Hong Kong and it seemed like he was gone just a bit too long, I just couldn’t wait to see him again so I decided the best thing to do was to pack my bags and go to Hong Kong too, come on Mum, time to go, we need to go and see Dad!

I found out Dad was staying in a nice hotel and living it up, I needed to get a piece of the action but I was going to need all my energy, Hong Kong is a busy place you know, better start with a good breakfast

But what to do with all my new found energy, go and have a look around Hong Kong of course, I am after all a tourist here you know

Who spilt the coffee?

Whoa, what’s all this about, a giant cup of coffee with kids floating in it, this sure is a crazy place Mum, maybe we need to check it out some more, what do you say, you think they have toy shops in Hong Kong Mum?

See what all the fuss is about

I got a bit of a shock today, I thought I saw my Dad holding another baby just a little bit too closely, I was getting real jealous, I just didn’t know what was going on, I thought to myself this kid is handsome so I can understand why someone would want to pick him up but come on Dad, I’m the only one you should be picking up!

Mum straightened things out though, that handsome kid was just me, I was looking in the mirror and I didn’t even know it, how silly did I feel when I found out, you could have warned me Mum 🙂

Hey, what are you looking at!

Now Mum, I’ve been past that mirror hundreds of times, why didn’t you let me know before that I could see myself, I can have a look now and see what all the fuss is about 😉
