A day of learning

What a day I had today, I thought it would be just another day of relaxing at home, long sleeps and warm milk, of course I did get some of that fortunately but that’s not all, Mum and Dad had other ideas.

We started off with some light exercise out on the yard

After my big workout with Dad I went with Mum and started on my math class

After my big day of exercise and learning all I wanted to do was have some milk and a big sleep

1+1=2, 1+2=3, 1+3=4 .....

What a day of learning, all I want to do now is have a big sleep, maybe I can dream about more milk

Out and about

Things are going great now, I’m out and about more than ever, I get to go new places all the time, last night I went out to dinner with some of my friends

I thought I was going to have a great time, everyone said the food was really good and it was a nice place but I was asleep the entire time, how much fun is that for me?

Let me think about it Dad

You know dad if you’re going to take me out with all my friends and you’re just going to let me sleep the whole time then I’m not sure if I’ll let you go next time, I’m really going to have to think about it you know, maybe I’ll let you take me to the toy shop instead, I think I can stay awake then 😉

Mum, Dad said we could go to the toy shop, I think he wants to buy me some new toys, Mum, Mum!!

What a relief!

What a weekend its been around here, I’ve had lots of visitors all weekend, I’m not sure where they all came from but there sure was plenty of people around, it seemed there was hardly a quiet moment all weekend.

Luckily we got to go the restaurant yesterday for lunch, it was good to get out of the house for a while and have a break, lots of people came with me too

My cousin came and brought his Dad and his Dad even brought his cousin too

It wasn’t just us guys though, my cousin brought his Mum and his Grandmother as well

Stop fooling around, lets go to lunch

It was good to have lunch together but the peace sure didn’t last long, it was still all action

What a relief!

I always enjoy having my friends over but it’s good once it gets quiet again and I can just relax and be myself, What a relief!

We are family

Now I get lots of visitors, everyone knows that already and it’s nothing new for me, I see lots of new people all the time but last night I was surprised when some of my family arrived, they came on the plane just to see me!

We are family so maybe he’ll teach me how to use the camera when I’m bigger too, I sure hope so 🙂

One month already

Today I turned one month old, it’s hard to believe its been one month already, time goes so fast!

Now that I’m one month old it was time for me to leave the house and have a look around, we decided to go to the hospital today so Mum and I could have a check up and see how we are going, here I am on the rack ready to get measured up

Dad couldn’t believe when they measured me up, I’ve grown 7cm already, now I’m 57cm tall

Next the doctor weighed me, I’ve put on more than 1 kilogram already, Dad was really surprised, Mum said it was her good milk that made me big and strong, Dad said I’ll have to stop drinking milk otherwise by the time I’m as old as Dad I’ll weigh over 400 kilos!  Don’t be silly Dad 🙂

Even Dad was surprised!

Now I’m starting to see a pattern here, just about every day I have some friends come over to say hello, nothing new about that, it’s almost becoming a routine now so I’m never really surprised when I see someone new or even when some of my old friends drop over so I really wasn’t expecting this weekend to be any different.

Dad had to go away for the weekend for work but I thought I could handle things here without him, sure enough my weekend was full of people dropping by to say hello

Now it’s always nice to see my friends again, but even when I think I’ve seen it all before they come up with something new, I have to say, I’ve had lots of nice gifts and I feel really spoilt already but this weekend I got one gift I never expected, a new chicken

Every kid needs a new chicken!

I was really surprised to get a new chicken, even Dad was surprised, really I think Dad’s a bit worried about going away now because he’s not sure what other gifts my friends might bring.

Can we keep him Dad, can we, can we?

Life just doesn’t let up around here, new friends and old friends keep coming to see me, I really can’t believe how many people I’ve seen and I haven’t even left the house yet, how many people are outside I wonder!

I think Mum needs a revolving door and can start charging admission soon

And Dad, I know you have to go to Hong Kong this weekend for work but I also found out from Mum that you got your China driving license today so Mum and I are going to think of all the places we want to go when you come back, we’ll keep you busy 😉

Too much relaxation

Life around here is pretty good, my days are filled with long sleeps, relaxing massages, trips to Dad’s day spa and long lunches at Mum’s milk shop, sometimes I think I get too much relaxation, today I was enjoying my usual routine of an early breakfast, a short sleep and then off to Dad’s day spa, nothing unusual about that but today I was so relaxed I fell asleep right there in the bath, I didn’t believe it myself but I found out later Mum took my picture while I was sleeping so I knew it was true

Lucky I had my trusty whale in there with me, hey Mum, how about some privacy over here!

I must be relaxing too much I think, they’ve finally managed to get my passport photo done, it took them plenty of tries though so I know I’m not an easy catch

Life’s been pretty good to me so far but I just can’t believe how many gifts I keep getting, everytime I meet someone new I get another gift, I feel like the luckiest kid alive, I even had a package arrive all the way from Australia with some new clothes for me to wear, I feel real special because none of the other babies that live near me have any special clothes like these.

Dad says when I wear my new yellow clothes I look like an academy award, whatever that is

Whatever it means it doesn’t matter, I keep getting lots of gifts and everyone treats me real nice so I’m happy 🙂

What a weekend!

Now I understand being a new baby and all that lots of people want to come and see me in person, they all want to see how cute I am, but I’ve been busy all week and I thought I’d be able to relax this weekend and just take it easy, boy was I wrong!

So here I am, Saturday morning, taking it easy just having a nice relaxing sleep and what do you know, I get woken up and fingerprinted, what’s all that about, I didn’t do it, you can’t prove a thing, I’ve got receipts for everything!

Why do you want my prints, don’t I get a phone call? Let me call my lawyer!!!

MUM, MUM!

It wasn't me, I didn't do it

I was worried for a while there but Mum and Dad straightened things out, they were just getting my handprint and footprint for a plaque they’re having made, what a relief that was, I wish they’d tell me what’s going on around here sometimes!

I had some friends come over after that and they brought gifts for me so I felt much better then, I forgot all about having my prints taken in the morning 🙂
