I needed to get a piece of the action

Dad has been away for work all last week in Hong Kong and it seemed like he was gone just a bit too long, I just couldn’t wait to see him again so I decided the best thing to do was to pack my bags and go to Hong Kong too, come on Mum, time to go, we need to go and see Dad!

I found out Dad was staying in a nice hotel and living it up, I needed to get a piece of the action but I was going to need all my energy, Hong Kong is a busy place you know, better start with a good breakfast

But what to do with all my new found energy, go and have a look around Hong Kong of course, I am after all a tourist here you know

Who spilt the coffee?

Whoa, what’s all this about, a giant cup of coffee with kids floating in it, this sure is a crazy place Mum, maybe we need to check it out some more, what do you say, you think they have toy shops in Hong Kong Mum?

You know what they say about a guy with big hands!

I get lots of visitors and meet lots of new people all the time, I guess that goes without saying when you’re a new kid in this world, everyone wants to take a look and tell you what they think.

Now I don’t know why but everyone keeps telling me I’ve got big hands, “ooh, look how big his hands are” they’ll say, I mean what’s the big deal, they look fine to me.

I thought I better check with Dad, he knows lots of stuff, Dad what’s all this talk about big hands? Let me check your hands so I can see what all the fuss is about.

Whoa Dad, these are huge!

Whoa, I couldn’t believe people have been telling me I’ve got big hands, I think they better check Dad’s hands next time, they’re massive.

So I asked Dad what all the fuss was about and I couldn’t believe what he had to tell me, “You know what they say about a guy with big hands!”, yep, you guessed it, “he needs big gloves” 😉

Looks like I’m going to need big gloves just like Dad when I grow up 🙂

I got a bit of a shock today, I thought I saw my Dad holding another baby just a little bit too closely, I was getting real jealous, I just didn’t know what was going on, I thought to myself this kid is handsome so I can understand why someone would want to pick him up but come on Dad, I’m the only one you should be picking up!

Mum straightened things out though, that handsome kid was just me, I was looking in the mirror and I didn’t even know it, how silly did I feel when I found out, you could have warned me Mum 🙂

Now Mum, I’ve been past that mirror hundreds of times, why didn’t you let me know before that I could see myself, I can have a look now and see what all the fuss is about 😉

This week has been great, my Aunty has come to visit and she has been helping to look after me too, it has been great to see more of my family, I’ve really been enjoying her stay

Now I love having visitors, especially when it’s my family but I also love my toys and Mum found some great new toys for me, at least I hope they’re for me, I know how much Mum likes my toys 😉

Now I’ve been living it up this week, everyone knows that already, 5 star treatment all the way but when I came home I was missing all that luxury, so what to do?

I told Dad that I want a big house with a swimming pool so I can have all the mod cons everyday, not just when we’re on holidays, I warned him I would get used to it 😉

Some of my friends heard about how I wanted all this luxury so they thought why should I wait, they brought me my very own swimming pool I could enjoy already!

I was swimming up and down and having a great old time, Dad, why didn’t you tell me about this before?

I love my new swimming pool but where is everyone else going to fit, there’s only enough room for me, Dad, you’re still going to have to get me a new house with a big pool, don’t think you’re getting off that easy 😉

I love my new gift, it’s lots of fun, but now I want a big pool even more, Dad, Dad!

This is living

This weekend I had to go to Guangzhou with Mum and Dad, we had to go to the Australian government office first thing Monday morning to fix up some of my paperwork, I got to go on the train and eat my lunch at 200kph, that was a fast lunch I can tell you 🙂

Now if I’m going to be staying away from home I need to stay somewhere nice right, of course, so Mum and Dad took me to a nice 5 star hotel, I slept in a giant bed just like Mum and Dad had too

Now if you stay in a 5 star hotel you have to enjoy at least a few luxuries I say, so after sleeping in my big bed what else could I do, have a big bath of course 🙂

I could float here for hours

Now I could have stayed in the bath for hours, swimming up and down and enjoying myself but I thought I may as well enjoy the full treatment while I’m here, what next, what else, a relaxing massage 🙂

This is living, I tell you it’s 5 star all the way for me, hey Dad, when we fly to Australia can we go first class?

Something fishy

Now Mum’s milk is great, no doubt about that, the doctors even tested it and they told me it was A grade (I knew that already but I let them have their fun) but what I didn’t know was how come Mum’s milk tastes different everyday, I mean you would think I’d get tired of drinking milk everyday but no chance, this milk is the best, but how come I wonder?

Turns out that Mum’s milk changes everyday because she eats different food everyday, so my milk always changes

I knew there was something fishy going on when my milk tasted different, I didn’t know it was because of the fish though, that sure caught me by surprise 🙂

I think it’s not just the fish though, I think it’s the way Dad cooks it, at least that’s what Dad keeps telling Mum anyway

Once Mum turned lunch into milk for me I had a taste too, and it was great!

What a great lunch but boy was I full, I could hardly move, time for a lie down I think, maybe I need to think about what to get Mum to eat next 😉

I mean how do they do it

Dad was telling me something today that I just couldn’t believe, he said when he had to get his passport that he went to the photo shop and they only took one photo, I mean how do they do it with only one photo, I can’t work it out!

Tell me more Dad

Now I’m not sure if Dad was telling me the truth or he was just telling bedtime stories but I know when I had to get my passport photos they took more than two hundred photos, I mean Dad, you expect me to believe they only took one photo of you, come on, you took hundreds of photos of me, they’re on my website, anyone can see them.

They took all these photos but it looks more like I got a mugshot taken than a passport photo

I was a bit worried with how the photo turned out, I look guilty and I haven’t even done anything

I guess they think that’s the best photo they could find, I think if you click on my photo you can see some of the other photos they took of me, there must be a better one there somewhere, I sure hope so!

Boys and their toys

I’ve got lots of toys already and I feel very lucky, Mum keeps buying me new toys all the time, she buys so many I’m worried she wants them all for herself and she just says that she’s buying them for me.

I’m going to have to start taking them to bed with me so she can’t get them.

Now nothing should come between boys and their toys, we all know that, but Mum, if you invite me over to your milk shop then maybe I’ll share my toys with you, how does that sound?

Meanwhile, back in the lab…

So things have ben going great, party’s, visitors, lots of trips outside but sometimes you have to take care of the serious stuff as well, this week I was back to the hospital for another checkup, the doctors were really impressed last time but they wanted to see me again and see how I’m going

The doctor says I’m growing real good, I told them it’s Mum’s good milk, they didn’t believe me at first so they even tested Mum’s milk and I was right, it’s top quality

Next they wanted to see if I’m taller

Of course I’m taller, what were you thinking Doc, I told you Mum’s milk is top quality 😉

They even wanted to make some other test to see how good my blood is

What are you doing with that!

Meanwhile, back in the lab all my tests went well, I’m growing bigger everyday, Mum and Dad can’t believe just how fast I’m growing, I’m going to keep drinking that good milk that Mum makes for me and I know I’ll be big and strong 🙂
